Andrie is a qualified insolvency practitioner and barrister in Cyprus and an INSOL Fellow. She holds a LLB, a LLM in International Commercial Law and a diploma in Global Insolvency Practice.

Following a brief career in law firms, Andrie has worked for a couple of years for the Bankruptcies and Liquidations Section of the Registrar of Companies, before becoming an insolvency practitioner. As an insolvency practitioner she has extensive experience in corporate and personal insolvencies, collateral enforcement, cross border restructurings, liquidations, receiverships, pre-packs, and Cyprus’ first ever Examiner appointment.

Andrie was appointed twice, in 2017 and 2020, by the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry as member of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Disciplinary Committee and is National Expert for Cyprus in the European working groups on “Harmonisation of transactions avoidance laws in the EU” and on “The definition of insolvency”.
